This August, Melt Mobile Glass makes its public debut at Portsmouth Maker Fest — a free, family-friendly celebration of "maker culture" on the Museum Mall in Olde Towne Portsmouth. Come watch molten glass come to life and meet the team behind MELT.

About the Festival
Maker Fest Portsmouth brings together artisans, technologists, and creators of every kind to share the "work behind the work." From glassblowing, pottery, and printmaking to coding, 3D printing, and blacksmithing, visitors of all ages and skill levels can explore interactive displays, live demonstrations, and hands-on activities.
The festival takes place outdoors on the Museum Mall beside the Children's Museum of Virginia in historic Olde Towne Portsmouth — and it's completely free to attend.
